Mandy Smith, 37, of Dickson City, PA, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA, after a brief battle with cancer. She is survived by four children: Mafia, Marcus and Aalyah Turner and Mandalay Valez; her mother: Patty Drake of Carbondale, PA; seven siblings: Robert Lyon of Scranton, PA, Anthony Lyon of Mayfield, PA, Laura Lyon of Carbondale, PA, Christina Lyon of Dickson City, PA, James Lyon of Carbondale, PA, Jessica DePaiva of Orlando, FL and Michael Fay of Carbondale, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her step father: Robert J. Lyon, Sr. who died in 2002. A blessing service was held Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
