Maebell E. Lewis, age 97, formerly of Brooklyn, PA. and Harford, PA. and a resident of the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. died Monday afternoon, October 4, 2004 at the nursing home. She was the wife of the late Clyde W. Lewis who died in 1985. Born May 14,1907 in Factoryville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Anna Harriet (West) Aton of Harford. She was a graduate from Factoryville High School. She belonged to the Rebecca Lodge in Brooklyn, PA. She was a very loving and giving person who was always willing to help anyone. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons: Eugene Lewis of New Port, VA. and Russell Lewis of Scranton, PA.; two sisters: Ann L. Sudlesky and Clara P. Aton both of Lenoxville, PA.; 8 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by two sons: Carl and David Lewis; two brothers: Thomas and Lawrence Aton Cremation took place in the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
