Madelyn M. Van Estenbridge age 55, of 10 Gravity Planes Road, Waymart past away Friday evening, August 2, 2002 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton following an 8 month illness. She was the wife of Donald E. Van Estenbridge who died October 8, 2000. Born July 3, 1947 in Dover, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Leonard M. and Margaret T. (Glaster) Peters. She had lived in New Jersey before moving to Waymart 6 years ago. She had enjoyed the past 25 years working as a machinist and a personal care attendant for elderly and handicapped people. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by three daughters: Tera Kolarcik-Van Estenbridge of Waymart, PA., Alicia Van Estenbridge and Donell Van Estenbridge-Seaman both of Greentown, PA.; two sisters: Kathy Barkman of Mt. Freedom, NJ. and Penny Burian of Mine Hill, NJ.; 4 Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by two brothers: William Peters and Leonard Peters A memorial service was held Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at 2:00 pm from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale with Rev. John Jefferies of Greentown, Pennsylvania officiating. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald. Viewing was held Wednesday, August 7, 2002 from 1:00 pm until service time.
