Madeline Emma Cooke, 93, formerly of Philadelphia, PA., died Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. She was the wife of the late Arthur Cooke. Born July 6, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Clara (Cattafesta) Springfield. Madeline worked as a book binder for National Publishing Company, Philadelphia for 20 years and retired from Allen Lane & Scott Publishing Company, Philadelphia after 15 years.
