LuAnne (Waffle) White, age 60, of New Milford, PA, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at the VNA Hospice at Geisinger-CMC Hospital, Scranton, PA. She is survived by her loving companion of 25 years Cecil Canfield of New Milford, PA. Born July 19, 1953 in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late George Ellsworth and Isabella (Hutchings) Waffle. LuAnne enjoyed traveling, long trips driving truck with Cecil, bingo and was an avid reader. She is also survived by one daughter: Deanna Toro of New Milford, PA; one son: Edward Waffle of Binghamton, NY; five grandchildren: Evelyn and Eric Hess, Connor, McKenna and Kelsey Waffle; one sister: Linda Dwyre; two brothers: George and Greg Waffle; many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. As per LuAnne's request, she was cremated and no services were held. Arrangements by Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
