Louise Lott Oakley, age 93, of Harford, PA., died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, April 2, 2008 at the Endless Mountains Health Systems Emergency Room, Montrose, PA. Born August 13, 1914 in Dundaff, PA., she was the daughter of the late Lionel Judson Lott, Sr. and Ruth (White) Lott. She was a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Dundaff, the Kingsley Willing Workers and the Harford Grange. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting but most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters: Ruth Resseguie of Kingsley, PA. and Pat Gallan of Alcona, Ontario, Canada; one son: Robert wife Maryann Oakley of Harford, PA.; one sister: Charity Chinelly of Penfield, NY.; 8 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandson; Several Nieces Nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Lionel Judson Lott, II. and Robert Lott; one sister: Doris Lewis. A graveside service was held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 12:00 PM in the Harford Cemetery, Harford, PA. Cremation took place from Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Funeral arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the Harford Fire Company or the Kingsley Willing Workers.
