Louis DePaul, 75, of Forest City, PA., died Friday morning, October 22, 2010 at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore, PA. He was the husband of the former Geraldine C. Perry, who died May 23, 2009.
Born January 29, 1935 in Trenton, NJ., he was the son of the late Louis and Columbia DePaul.
He was a former resident of New Jersey and was a retired welder. He enjoyed spending time at home with his family and his favorite pastime was working in his garden and watching television. He adored his granddaughters and great grandchildren and will be deeply missed by them.
He is survived by one daughter: Debra Curtis and husband Thomas of Forest City, PA.; one granddaughter: Dena Curtis of Forest City, PA.; two great grandchildren: Thomas James The Boy Curtis and Arianna Blondie Vercruyssen; five siblings: Marie, Anna, Philomena, Vito and Anthony; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Tiffany Curtis; three brothers: John, Thomas and Edmund.
A graveside service was held Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Forest City, PA., with Rev. Patrick Albert, pastor of the Roman Catholic Community of Forest City and Pleasant Mount, PA., officiating.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of the Carmine J. and Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
