Lornah D. Schulte, age 23, of Uniondale, PA died Sunday afternoon, December 12, 2004 at the Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lenox Township, PA. Born December 26, 1980 in Scranton, PA. She is the daughter of David H. Schulte, Jr. of Uniondale and the late Cathy E. (Spangenberg) Schulte, and step daughter of Constance (Green) Schulte, also of Uniondale. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Harford, PA. She was a 1999 graduate of the Mountain View High School. Our Lornah was a generous and loving spirit who always tried to help people- even the lost causes others had long since given up on. She was funny, feisty and unafraid to speak her mind-the conscience of the class of 1999. Lornah loved children and they loved her, especially the many to whom she was a doting godmother. We will especially miss her sense of humor and her laughter, but we will never stop knowing she is still keeping an eye on us, just like she always did. Schulte, III. of Scranton, PA. and Robert M. Schulte of Fort Lewis, WA,; one step sister: Gillian Econopouly of London, England; two step brothers: Demetrius Econopouly of Lake Tahoe, CA. and Philip Econopouly of Uniondale, PA.; maternal grandmother: Catherine Spangenberg of Whitehall, PA.; paternal grandmother: Jean (Creveling) Schulte of Allentown, PA. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: David H. Schulte, Sr. and her maternal grandfather: Robert Spangenberg A memorial service was held Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at 7:00 pm in the First Congregational Church, Main Street, Harford, with the Rev. Patricia White, pastor, her father David H. Schulte, Jr., and Rev. Kenneth McRea, officiating. Inurnment, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Whitehall. Cremation took place in the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Friends called Tuesday, December 21, 2004 from 3-6 pm at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford.
