Lori J. Ostermeyer, 63, of Carbondale, PA., died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Born April 23, 1949 on Long Island, NY., she was the daughter of Germaine (Dufrene) Ostermeyer of France and the late Henry Ostermeyer. She was a former resident of Long Island, New York and had resided in the area for the past 20 years. Prior to her illness, she had been employed as a legal secretary and as a sales person for her father's company on Long Island. She is survived by one daughter: Melissa Riefler of Honesdale, PA.; one sister: Lillian Ostermeyer of France; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister: Linda Ostermeyer. As per her request she was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
