Lisa M. Tatar, 42, a resident of Allied in Scranton, PA., died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the Community Medical Center, Scranton. Born November 14, 1966 in Peckville, PA., daughter of the late Joseph and Delores (Miller) Tatar, Sr.She worked with the elderly for several area nursing homes and was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale. She loved gardening, crafts and was particularly fond of the cartoon character, Snoopy.She is survived by two daughters: Crystal Mickel and fiance Matthew Wheeler of Greenfield Township, PA., Kimberly Mickel and fiance Adam Malinowski of Simpson, PA.; two grandchildren: Matthew and Issac; one sister: Laura Felker of Carbondale, PA.; one brother: Joseph Tatar, Jr. of Carbondale, PA.; a goddaughter: Terri Mickel; several nieces and nephews.The funeral was held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale., with Rev. William Campbell, senior priest at St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, officiating. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Montdale, PA. Friends called Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 5-8 PM. Pallbearers: James Mickel, Joseph Malinowski, Adam Malinowski, Jerry Meade, Andy Mroczka, Matthew Wheeler, Joseph Park and Richard Sangster.
