Lisa M. Hess, 43, of Simpson, PA., died Friday afternoon, April 30, 2010 in Tobyhanna Township from injuries sustained as a passenger in a motorcycle accident. Born January 15, 1967 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of James Hess of Carbondale and Ann Griffin Hess of Newfoudland, PA. She was a graduate of Carbondale Area High School and Lackawanna College. She was employed as a line foreman for the Cinram Corporation in Olyphant, PA. She loved her children and her granddaughters. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by two sons: Justin Hess of Jessup, PA. and Joshua Hess of Simpson, PA.; one sister: Marie Welch of Gouldsboro, PA.; one brother: Jake Hess of Pocono Lake, PA.; two granddaughters: Bailey Cinamella of Daleville, PA. and Ella Hess of Jessup, PA.; several nieces and nephews; three great nieces; her companion: Edward White. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Danielle Larissa Hess. The funeral was held Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Margo Tomlinson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale, officiating. Interment, Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: Kenneth Usher, William Usher, Patrick Kopa, Dustin White, Lyndon White and Alan Crown. Friends called Tuesday, May 4, 2010 from 5-8 PM.
