Linda Stone Bei, 73, of Clarks Summit, PA, died on Saturday, August 19, 2023 while under the care of Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Linda was the daughter of the late Bruce Stephens Stone and Mildred Thomas Stone.

Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years, David Bei. She was a loving wife and aunt, and a loyal friend. Linda loved gardening, kayaking, reading, bicycling, and exploring new areas. She was an avid puzzle solver, no matter the degree of difficulty. She also enjoyed needlework and genealogy.

Linda began her career as a Customer Service Representative at Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania in Scranton, and advanced to positions in Marketing at Verizon. Following relocation to New York City, she was employed at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and later Evonik Corporation, working in various customer service positions.

Besides her husband, Linda is survived by her brother, Bruce Stone, his wife Linda, and her sister-in-law, Carol Bei. Also surviving are nieces, Brittney Hoppel and husband, Chris, Lesley Widergren and husband, Mark, Kirsten Snyder and husband, Scott, and Ashley Stone and husband, Ron Neher. Grand-nieces and nephews, Chase, Kristen, Olivia, Tuesday, Dean and Jack. Surviving cousins include, Karen Thomas, Karen Riffe, Eric Luce, and Jery Luce.

Interment was at Clarks Green Cemetery on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Arrangements made by Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
