Lena S. Graziano, 93, of Carbondale, PA, died Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Aventura at Creekside, Carbondale, PA. She was the wife of the late Samuel R. "Prop" Graziano, who died May 15, 2010. They were married 42 years prior to his death.

Born February 20, 1931 in Cicala, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rose Cianflone Mancuso.

Lena immigrated to the United States in her twenties and worked as a seamstress for many local dress factories for over 45 years prior to her retirement. She also worked out of her home doing alterations for many years.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale, and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Carbondale Chapter UNICO and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law: Agnes Touch and husband, Andrew of Archbald, PA, and Mary Ann McLaughlin of Carbondale, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Concetta, Maria and Carmella Mancuso; and three brothers: Giuseppe, Gino and Antonio Mancuso.

The funeral was held Friday, February 7, 2025 from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Seth Wasnock, pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.

Pallbearers: John McLaughlin, Brian Carite, Brian Rogan, Jamie Walsh, Michael Churney and Louis Mantione.

A viewing was held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations were sent to the Carbondale Chapter UNICO.
