Leland W. "Sonnie" Crawford, Jr., 66, of Factoryville, PA, died Wednesday morning, April 11, 2018 at The Gardens at Tunkhannock, Tunkhannock, PA, after a brief battle with cancer. Born October 10, 1951 in Meshoppen, PA, he was the son of the late Leland, Sr. and Eleanor Burgess Crawford. Sonnie's favorite pastime was playing the lottery. He had an affection for classic cars and was a fan of anything Mopar related. He is survived by three children: Tim Crawford of Meshoppen, PA, Aaron Woodworth and wife Mary of Rochester, NY and Angel Powers of Montrose, PA; five grandchildren; six siblings: Darlene Haines and husband Dave of Kingsley, PA, Judie Abrams of Tunkhannock, PA, Shirley Turley and husband Brad of Crown City, OH, Ken Crawford and wife Tammy of Tunkhannock, PA, Randy Crawford and wife Clara of Dallas, PA and Charlene Crawford of Carbondale, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. As celebration of life service was held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Susquehanna Apartments, 25 Avery Street, Tunkhannock, PA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
