Lee W. "Gee" McGurrin, 72, of Clifford Township, PA, died Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Carbondale Nursing Center, Carbondale, PA. Born June 23, 1949 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of the late Leo "Cobb" and Irene Lloyd McGurrin. Lee was a 1968 graduate of Mountain View High School and a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in both the Navy and Marine Corps. He had been employed for 55 years as a beagle trainer where he had the privilege of training show dogs. He was a member of several beagle clubs, the American Goat Association and the Friendship Grange on Lyon Street. He is survived by two nephews: Joseph Shust of Greenfield Township, PA and Thomas McGurrin of Greenfield Township, PA; a niece: Debbie McGurrin of Kentucky; several great nephews and nieces. He was also preceded in death by two sisters: Jane Shust and Kathryn Burdick; and a brother: Raymond "Spike" McGurrin.
