Lawrence J. Medeiros, 80, of Union Dale, PA, died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Barnes-Kasson Skilled Nursing, Susquehanna, PA. He wife is the former Ann Marie Gallik. Born June 14, 1936 in Taunton, MA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Margaret Ferris Medeiros. Larry was employed as a carpet installer for over 45 years in both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. He was a wonderful, kind and caring husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by two children: Dennis Medeiros and wife Michelle of Taunton, MA and Sharon Flannery and husband Randy of Danforth, ME; three step children: Dennis Jacob Knowlton and wife Tracy Tellep of Union Dale, PA, Damien Zebulon Knowlton and fiance Rachel Carey of Scott Township, PA and Meghann Courtney Boylan and husband Tom of Clifford, PA; 9 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son: Scott Medeiros; three brothers, George, Dennis and Ronald Medeiros; a sister: Dianne Medeiros. Private cremation arrangements were held from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
