Kim G. Zantowsky, age 51, of Carbondale, PA., died Friday morning, November 25, 2011 at the Intensive Care Unit in the Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA., after a brief illness.
Born September 17, 1960 in Marietta, GA., she is the daughter of Gail (Barney) Cain of Carbondale and the late William Hiller. She was the stepdaughter of the late Richard Cain.
She was a loving and caring mother who devoted her life to her children. She would always lend a helping hand to anyone and will be dearly missed by her family. She loved animals and will be missed by her dog Tye.
She is survived by two daughters: Tina Zantowsky and Danielle Smith; four sons: Karl Zantowsky, Andrew Smith, Richard Hiller and Ryan James; ten grandchildren: Courtney, Desiree, Justin, Jessica, Brandon, Hailey, Breanna, Kyle, Christopher and Emalee; two sisters: Katrina West and Nicole Wormuth; eight brothers: Mark, Neil and Anthony Hiller, Paul, Joseph, Eugene, Corey and Erik Cain; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:00 PM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Rev. Rand Kizer, pastor of the Clinton Center Baptist Church, Waymart, PA., officiating. Cremation followed the service.
Friends called Monday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations were made to the family.
