Kenneth E. Knapp, 66, of Herrick Center, PA, died Friday, October 7, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Dickson City, shortly upon arrival. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruthann Anderson. They were married on September 3, 1977

Born August 6, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Theodore and Hazel Allen Knapp.

Ken was a graduate of Forest City High School and was formerly employed by Chesapeake Packaging Company in Conklin, NY. He was a member of the Elkdale Baptist Church of West Clifford, where he also served as one its deacons. He especially enjoyed making spaghetti dinners at the church with his fellow parishioner's. Ken liked listening to short wave radio and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was the president of the Wheeler Hill Cemetery Association and was a former writer of the classic country cooking column at the Forest City News.

He is survived by three daughters: Chrissie Kozlowski and husband, Bob of Scott Township, PA, Debbie and Alison Knapp both of Herrick Center, PA; three grandchildren: Hanah, Paddy and Jamison Kozlowski; one sister: Susan Carpenter of Pleasant Mount, PA; one brother: James Knapp and wife, Maria of Pleasant Mount, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Elkdale Baptist Church of West Clifford, 45 State Route 2014, Clifford Township, PA, with Rev. Frank Bissol, pastor, officiating. Interment, Wheeler Hill Cemetery, Pleasant Mount, PA.

A viewing was held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contribution were sent in Ken's name to the Elkdale Baptist Church.
