Kenneth R. Goodrich, 77, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Saturday morning, February 7, 2015 at home. His wife of 52 years is the former Judith Walton. Born June 18, 1937 in Greenfield Township, PA, he was the son of the late Robert S. and Eloise White Goodrich and the grandson of Ralph and Carrie Bell Goodrich and Earl and Vina Gardner White. Ken graduated in the 11th grade from the Greenfield Township High School in 1954. He later transferred to Scott Township High School to play sports where he graduated 12th grade in 1955. He was a member of the Finch Hill Baptist Church, Greenfield Township and attended the Clifford Baptist Church, Clifford, PA. Ken will always be remembered for the tender loving care of his mother who passed in 2007 at the age of 90. He is survived by three children: Pamela Rutherford, Amy Goodrich and Robert Goodrich; grandchildren: Lauren and Kyle Rutherford, Ethan and Elizabeth Harjes and Kenneth and Robert Goodrich; he was an honorary grandpa to: Jeffrey, Tristan and Shania; one brother: Doug Goodrich; aunts and uncles: Jane and Walter Buck and Ron and Lois White; and special cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter: Patricia Anne Goodrich. A public graveside service will be held at a day and time to be announced in the spring at Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Township. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA. Memorial contributions in Ken's name can be sent to the Clifford Baptist Church.
