Kenneth R. Broskoskie, 63, of Scranton, PA, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA, after a lengthy illness.

Born May 27, 1963 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Ernest and Theresa Tarapchak Broskoskie.

Ken served in the U.S. Army and with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard for 18 years. He was a talented chef and was known for his creative pasta dishes. He worked for several area restaurants including, the Hilton Hotel and Conference Center, Bar Pazzo and DaVinci's all in downtown Scranton.

Ken was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his funny sense of humor and being a dedicated family man who cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted wife: Sandy Broskoskie of Scranton, PA; his three loving children: Kenneth R. Broskoskie, Jr. and wife, Meggie of Carbondale, PA, Heather Broskoskie of Simpson, PA and Ashley Broskoskie of Greenwood, SC; five cherished grandchildren: Nicolina, Neveah, Alivia, Cameron and Dwayne; and two adoring great-grandchildren: Kalanie and Amoni; and a third, Nova who is on the way.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
