Kathryn Potter, 65, of Carbondale, PA, died Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the Carbondale Nursing Home, after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Born July 14, 1958 in Warren, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Betty Bronson Potter and was a 1976 graduate of Carbondale Area High School. She was an avid sports fan and loved playing softball in her younger days. She never missed a Pittsburgh Steelers or Notre Dame football game. Before her illness, she was employed at the Gentex Corporation and Allied Services.

The family would like to thank the Carbondale Nursing Home for the care she received during the last five years as well as, Compassionate Care Hospice for making her last days as peaceful as possible.

She is survived by one sister: Christine Conigliaro of Carbondale; two brothers: William Potter of New Jersey and Douglas Potter and wife, Ann Marie of Scranton; and aunt: Joan Bronson; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas and Steven Potter; a nephew: William Conigliaro; and a sister-in-law: Barbara Potter.

The family received friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA. A funeral service was conducted at 5:30 p.m. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA.
