Kathleen M. Palko, 82, of Carbondale, PA., died Monday night, March 27, 2006 at Mercy Hospice, Scranton, PA. She was the widow of Paul S. Palko who died January 17, 1995. Born May 4, 1923 in England. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Goodwin Ford. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale and the English War Brides Club. She is survived by one son: Gerald Palko of Carbondale, PA.; two daughters: Patricia and husband Anthony Mikloiche and Gail Kubilis all of Carbondale, PA.; five granddaughters: Kimberley Gregorowicz of Jessup, PA., Amber Gilligan of Carbondale, PA., Brooke Ord and Sarah Mikloiche both of Mayfield, PA. and Tiffany Kubilis of Carbondale, PA.; 10 Great Grandchildren: Courtney, Stephen, Kaitlyn, Hope, Joseph, Andrew, Edward, Matthew, Benjamin and Danica. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. The funeral was held Friday, March 31, 2006 at 10:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by the Rev. William Campbell, senior priest, officiating. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart, PA. Friends called Thursday, March 30, 2006 from 5 to 7 PM. Pallbearers: Joseph Krisovich, Daniel Gilligan, Stephen Barney and Anthony Ord.
