Katherine M. Condi, of Carbondale, PA, died Monday, September 28, 2026 surrounded by her family at the Carbondale Nursing Center, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born June 17, 1957 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Pauline McIlarly Bruno and the step-daughter of the late Joseph Bruno.

Kathy was a dedicated health care professional having worked at the Lackawanna County Nursing Home and the Carbondale Nursing Home for many years as a certified nursing assistant. She was drawn to the quaintness of historic Gettysburg and enjoyed frequent trips to what she called her “happy place”. Kathy was a passionate fan of WWE wrestling and never missed an opportunity to watch it on television. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mom and grandma but especially a caring and devoted daughter to her mother over the years.

Kathy's family is thankful to Maria Giacobbe, who was a close friend to Kathy. They will never forget the love and support she provided Kathy over the years.

She is survived by her three loving children: Christopher Wormuth, Ryan Wormuth, and Kayla Condi; her 11 adoring grandchildren: Lisa, Tyler, Ian, Linkin, Riley, Lukas, Cameron, Ashton, Giovanni, Briella and Lailah; her three precious great-grandchildren: Avery, Remington and Arianna; three brothers: John, Alfred and Daniel Davidson; and a step-sister: Lois Ann Peterka.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Ross Davidson.

As per Kathy’s request, she will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
