Julia M. Krok, 82, of Carbondale, PA., died Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carbondale. Born September 25, 1928 in Big Creek, WV., she was the daughter of the late John and Marie (Schultz) Kudrick. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale and was an ordained deacon and church elder. For many years she was also responsible for sending out cards to church parishioner's who could no longer physically attend services at the church. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed at RCA in Dunmore, PA. for over 20 years. She is survived by three children: David Krok and wife Sharlyn of Greenfield Township, PA., Sharon Scalzo and Linda Dickinson both of Carbondale, PA.; one sister: Janice Brady of Carbondale, PA.; four grandchildren: Thomas Laguzzi, Jr., Kevin Laguzzi and wife Susan, Brian Krok and Tanya Gorie; two great grandsons: Jacob and Nico Laguzzi; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Joseph Kudrick; one sister: Jane Notchick. The funeral was held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 8:45 AM from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale, with services at 9:00 AM in the First Presbyterian Church, 76 Salem Avenue, Carbondale, with Pastor Margo Tomlinson, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Pallbearers: Thomas Laguzzi, Jr., Brian Krok, John Notchick and Paul Hickey. Friends called Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
