Judy Ann Price, 81, of Scranton, PA, and formerly of Lenoxville, PA, ascended peacefully to Heaven on January 1, 2025, at Allied Services Skilled Nursing, Scranton, PA, in the presence of her loving family after a brief illness. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 61 years, Marvin Price.

Born February 27, 1943 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ronald A. and Rachel M. Lewis Barber.

Judy was a graduate of Mountain View High School and Lackawanna College. She was a 25-year employee of PNC Bank as both a teller and customer service representative. Judy was an avid reader, enjoyed attending auctions and was a collector of many items. She was a former member of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church and a former board member at the Lenoxville Community Hall.

Judy adored her two teacup poodles, Pierre and Gigi, whom she considered her 5th and 6th children.

She is also survived by four children: Jeffrey E. Price of Scranton, PA, Heather Lynne Adams and husband, Todd of Montrose, PA, David Price and wife, Amber Bosco Price of Mechanicsburg, PA, and Shannon Ackroyd and husband, Paul of Archbald, PA; two grandsons: Michael Price and Brayden Ackroyd; one sister: Connie Barber Stern and husband, Fred of Cortlandt Manor, NY; four sisters-in-law: Pearl Urda, Millie Smith, Shirley Cherinchak and Bonnie Owens; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Patricia Eldred.

The funeral will be Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA, with Rev. Bonnie Resseguie, officiating.
