Joseph A. Rosar, 63, of Carbondale, PA., died Thursday afternoon, March 25, 2010 at home after a long illness. His wife of 32 years is the former Sharon Decker.
Born November 16, 1946, in Scranton, PA., he was the son of the late Edward and Victoria Witek Rosar Knick.
He worked for several years at Casket Shells, Inc., Eynon, PA., Glass Products, Inc., Carbondale and Burger King, Carbondale and Eynon. He was a former member of St. Adalbert's Polish National Church, Dickson City, PA. He was a hard worker, good provider, loving father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by all. He was his grandson Ryan's best friend.
He is survived by children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters nieces and nephews.
A private blessing service was held at the convenience of the family. Cremation took place at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
Arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale.
