Joseph C. Molinaro, 68, of Stafford, VA., and formerly of Jermyn, PA, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.

Born December 22, 1955 in Carbondale, PA, he was the son of Darlene Marie Bennett Molinaro of Peckville, PA, and the late Joseph Vincent Molinaro.

Joe was a 1974 graduate of Lakeland High School and worked as a Uniformed Division Officer for the United States Secret Service, prior to his retirement after 22 years of service.

He was of the Catholic faith, enjoyed camping, loved muscle cars and enjoyed attending car shows. Joe also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and attending concerts.

He is survived by one son: Christopher Molinaro and husband, Devin Starrs of Woodstock, VA; two daughters: Heather Molinaro and partner, Joshua Driegert of Stafford, VA and Danielle Edwards and husband, Kenneth of Martinsburg, WV; two grandchildren: Kaylee Schaefer and Levi Edwards; two sisters: Deborah Morcom of Scott Township, PA and Mary Frisbie and husband, John of Mayfield, PA; an aunt: Frances Tabor of Mayfield, PA; his former wife: Mary Cabrina Vadala Molinaro of Stafford, VA; as well as several other aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Shaun Morcom.

The funeral was held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with Rev. Seth D. Wasnock, pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Carbondale, PA, officiating. Interment with Secret Service honors, Jermyn Cemetery, Jermyn, PA.

Pallbearers: Thomas Sweetman, William Beechko, Sr., Joseph Vadala, Richard Tulloch, Kenneth Edwards and Frank Twardzik.

Viewing hours were held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
