Obituary

Joe for short. A longtime resident of Jermyn and Mayfield, PA. Joe went to Mountain View High School. Joe was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus & Mary Parish in Jermyn. As he became older, he wanted to venture out. He was an avid traveler from Pennsylvania. Some of his favorite places were Woodstock, N.Y., and California. He traveled to many states in between his ventures, riding his motorcycle. Joe also enjoyed running in marathons. Some of the cities he participated in marathons in were New York City and Los Angeles, but there were many more. Joe later in his life got married and decided to move away from Pennsylvania. Joe and Amanda bought an RV and decided to travel across the country looking for a new place to call home, finally settling in Apache Junction, AZ. Joe always made sure to keep everyone updated on their adventures and what they were up to on social media. Joe will be remembered for running a store or working at the swap meet. Having one man`s junk and making it another man`s treasure was something he truly enjoyed. February 2021 would have been his 18th anniversary with AA. He passed on Jan. 19, 2021 in Apache Junction. Joe was the son of the late Stanley and Mary LaRosa Maciuska. He was preceded in death by brother, Edward Maciuska; sister, Constance McAllister; and nephew, Matthew Maciuska. Joe is survived by wife, Amanda Maciuska; daughter, Mary Timco; sister, Victoria Knick; brothers, Stanley and John Maciuska; many nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed by family and friends.
