Joseph Robert "Bob" Haser, 77, of Greenfield Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Allied Rehab Hospital, Scranton, PA. He is survived by his wife the former Charlotte Carroll. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on August 11th. Born in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Jacob and Barbara Samuels Haser. Bob was a 1958 graduate of St. Patrick's High School, West Scranton and retired from the paint department at Lockheed Martin in Archbald, PA. He enjoyed doing bodywork on cars and especially had a talent for pin striping vehicles. He also had an avid collection of model cars which he enjoyed assembling. Bob's favorite pastime was frequenting the casinos and watching his favorite lifelong teams the Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers. He will be deeply missed by his family, many friends and his many domestic and feral cats. He is also survived by three sons: Gary Haser and wife Renee of Dunmore, PA, Joseph Haser of Greenfield Township, PA and Glenn Haser of Phoenixville, PA; two grandsons: P.J. and Andy; Many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by three sisters: Marie Williams, Katie Evans and Peggy Tiberi White. Friends called Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA. The funeral service and interment was private for the family and held at their convenience. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, Montdale, PA.
