Joseph A. Bruno, Jr. age 46, of Palm Beach, Florida and formerly of Carbondale, PA. died suddenly Monday, July 12, 2004 at home. Born November 4, 1957 in Carbondale, PA. He was the son of the late Joseph A. Sr. and Louise D. (Denner) Bruno. His step mother is Pauline (McIlady) Bruno of Carbondale. He was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by: three sisters: Alice Comonie and Marie Comonie both of Olyphant, PA and Lois Bruno of Pleasant Mount, PA.; one brother: Thomas Bruno of Olyphant, PA.; four step brothers: Ross Davidson and Danny Davidson both of Carbondale, PA., Al Davidson of Acre Lake, PA. and John Davidson of Uniondale, PA.; one step sister: Kathy Wormuth; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins; an ex-fiance: Julie Smith Barbato of Syracuse, NY.; one step daughter, Neishaa Anthony of North Syracuse, NY. He was preceded in death by one step daughter: Crystal Anthony The funeral was held Friday, July 23, 2004 at 3:00 pm in the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with the Rev. Joseph Sitko, pastor of St. Pius X Church, Royal, PA. officiating. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Friends called Friday, July 23, 2004 from 1-3 pm.
