Father, Brother, Husband, Marine and Friend, John lived his life true to his principles, and never compromised for anyone. He did business with a handshake, and judged a man's character by how he kept his word. As a stone mason, John's talent and artistry were evident in every brick he so meticulously laid. As a man, he was pragmatic, giving, and above all, fair.

John loved the simple pleasures in life; the comfort of a warm fire, the smoothness of a cold beer, and the howling laughter from a good joke with friends.

Though we may all grieve John's passing, remember that he'd want us not to dwell upon our troubles, but to enjoy and appreciate today, and the good times we create.

As he always used to say, "We're not here for a long time, we're here for a GOOD time!"

A memorial service was held Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
