John M. Jack Young, Jr. age 59, of Kingsley,PA. died Friday afternoon, January 2, 2004 at the Adams Manor, Scranton, PA. His wife is the former Doris Taylor. Born December 7, 1944 in Doylestown, PA. He was the son of the late John M., Sr. and Madaline (Norton) Young. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by two sons: Brian P. Young of Liberty, NY. and Christopher J. Young of Hop Bottom, PA.; one sister: Jane Cove of Hamden, CT.; one brother: Richard Young of New Britain, PA.; 2 Grandchildren; Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one sister: Marion Young A memorial service was held Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 1:00 pm in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with the Rev. Joseph Sitko, pastor of St. Pius X Church, Royal, PA., officiating. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
