John Martell Wivell, Jr., age 71, of Forest, VA., died Sunday afternoon, March 4, 2007 at the Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA. Born April 30, 1935 in Carbondale, PA., he was the son of the late John Martell, Sr. and Nina Mae (Andrews) Wivell. He was of the Baptist faith and served in the Airforce. He worked as an area supervisor for Hercules Inc. in Kenvil, New Jersey for many years. He was a former member of the Elks Club in Dover, New Jersey. He enjoyed trap shooting, golf, photography and fishing. He is survived by a cousin: Robert A. wife Joyce Collins of Williamsport, PA. and son Robert; Thought of as family: Steven wife Colleen Cicchetti of Mine Hill, NJ. and children Steven and Danielle; John wife Stephanie Cicchetti of Rockaway, NJ. and daughter Jamie Lynn; Art wife Michelene Richards of Forest, VA. and son Michael; Leo wife Aprile Gizzi of Riner, VA. He was preceded in death by one brother: Edward Duane Wivell; one grandson: A. Travis Richards A memorial service was held Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 7:30 PM from Oakey's East Chapel, 5188 Cloverdale Road, Roanoke, VA., with the Rev. Frank Feather, officiating. Friends called Thursday, March 8, 2007 from 5-8 PM. Inurnment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Funeral arrangements in Virginia and Pennsylvania were under the direction of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
