John F. Mikloiche, 77, a lifelong resident of Dundaff, PA, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA, after a battle with cancer. His wife is the former Myra Mikulak of Browndale, PA. Born March 8, 1942 in Dundaff, PA, he was the son of the late Steve and Eva Parker Mikloiche. John was employed as an Operating Engineer at Corbisello Quarries, Vestal, NY, and was a member of the New York Operators Engineer Union. He was a private truck owner contracted by Masters Concrete, Kingsley, PA. He was a member of St. John Vianney Parish, Royal, PA, and an avid fisherman. He is survived by three sons: John and wife, Kim, Joseph, and Jeff and wife, Joan; a daughter: Lynn Torrick and husband, Ronald; eleven grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters: Rose Brink and Dorlene Pencek; a brother: Steve; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son: Michael; a brother: Peter; and a sister: Eva. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, December 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Pius X Church, 3615 State Route 106, Royal, PA, celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Kirwin, pastor. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Pallbearers were his grandsons: Michael, Rick, Colby, Hayden, Logan and Conner Mikloiche and Kyle and Adam Morris. Viewing hours were held Friday, December 13, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
