John T. Heuskin, 57, of Carbondale, PA, died Sunday, June 9, 2024 at home. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia (Haynes) Heuskin.

Born November 5, 1966 in Bay Shore, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Betty Gorman Heuskin. John was raised and educated in Bay Shore before moving to Pennsylvania over 20 years ago. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for Dot-Line Transportation.

John enjoyed hot rods and was proud of his 1962 Ford Falcon. He loved the freedom of the open road, especially when riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. John was a proud member of the Pagan's Motorcycle Club. He will be fondly remembered as the family jokester and his favorite holiday was Christmas. Family and friends will especially miss his 365-day countdowns until Christmas that he posted every day on social media.

He is also survived by his five sons: John Heuskin and wife, Erin, Andrew Heuskin and wife, Ariel, Christopher Heuskin and wife, Kyra, Michael Heuskin and wife, Sabrina, and Robert Heuskin; seven grandchildren, Lydia, Sophia, McKenzie, Amanda, Amelia, Lilliana, and Isabella; one sister: Dorothy Pulgrano; three brothers: Anthony Heuskin, Vincent Heuskin and husband, Russell, and Steven Heuskin; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Monday, June 17, 2024, from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Mosley, senior priest. Cremation followed.

Pallbearers: John, Andrew, Christopher, Michael, Robert, Danny, Dylan and Stephanie Heuskin and Nikki and Anthony Pulgrano.

Friends called Saturday, June 15, 2024, and Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
