Joan A. Meade, 72, of Clifford Township, PA., died Friday morning, October 24, 2008 at the Millville Health Center, Millville, PA. She was the wife of the late George Meade, who died October 24, 2004. Born January 1, 1936 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Michael J. and Ella Romaine (Snyder) Mihalick. She was a graduate of the Harford High School and had been employed for 37 years at the former Clifford Dress Factory. She was an avid gardener. She is survived by one brother: James Mihalick of Harford, PA.; two nephews and two nieces all of Canada. A private service was held, Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Interment was held Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 5:00 PM in the Clifford Valley Cemetery, Clifford.
