Joan F. Kozloski, 78, a resident of the Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton, PA., and formerly of Thompson, PA., died Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2011 at Allied. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Kozloski, who died February 12, 2006.
Born May 10, 1933 in Denville, NJ., she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Lennon.
She was a former resident of Denville, New Jersey and had been a retired executive secretary with the Morris County Sheriff's Department in New Jersey. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.
She is survived by one step daughter: Marsha Cottrell and husband Skip of Jackson, PA.; one brother: Jack Lennon and wife Gloria of Denville, NJ.; one granddaughter: Jessica Walters of Florida; three step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son: Craig.
As per her request she was cremated.
Cremation arrangements were conducted by the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
