On the afternoon of Friday, July 24, 2026, Jenny succumbed to lung disease while in hospice care. She was surrounded by family and loved ones in her final days.

A proud mother and grandmother, she was often described as a matriarch, or the glue which held her family together. Jenny is survived by her husband: Mike Nally; her mother: Ellen Morcom; her children: Robyn (Ryan) Bonk, Michael Nally, Thomas Nally, and Jaclyn Nally; her grandchildren: Allyssah, Caylheb, Landhyn, and Mylhes Bonk; her siblings: Paul Hambke and Mary Hambke-Wade; her sister of heart: Joy Bognatz; her in-laws: Patrick, Janet, Christopher, and Theresa Nally; Keith and Eileen Walker; her niece and grandniece: Darla and Penelope Lattimer; her nieces and nephews: Andrew and Greta Hambke; Megan and Colin Nally; Katie Klintberg; Maria Slade; Riley Nally; Eddy Bognatz; and Courtney Barhite.

Jenny graduated from the Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech program in 1989. She then received an associate degree in nursing in May 2000 and her BSN-RN in May 2001 from Penn State University. Jenny spent her career as a nurse, often saying that she loved saving people who needed her.

Outside of work, Jenny continued her pursuit of science, often acting as a counselor and trusted source of medical knowledge for friends and family. A passionate advocate for autism, Jenny wished for her legacy to be her theory on using positive psychophysiological stimulation in autism therapy.

Beyond science, Jenny was an accomplished creative. She loved the arts and literature, filling her home with books. As a playwright, Jenny wrote and produced her award-nominated play, As If I Were a Child. In addition to her writing, she was also a gifted illustrator.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4 – 7 p.m. at Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA. A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. by Rev. Will Hagenbuch of the First Congregational Church of Harford.

In accordance with Jenny’s wishes, a private scattering of her ashes will be held with her family.

Jenny will be remembered as a hero amongst men, a woman who let her actions as a healer speak louder than her words. She accomplished her goal of making the world a better place, giving more than she ever received.
