Jennie Mancuso age 98, of 27 Hospital Street, Carbondale died late Saturday night, March 23, 2002 at home after a brief illness. She was the wife of James Mancuso who died in 1965. Born March 29, 1903 in Carbondale, PA. She was the last surviving child of the late Carmine and Rachel (Gagliano) Parise, formerly of Reynolds Avenue, Carbondale. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Carbondale. She belonged to various church societies. Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 225 City Line Avenue Suite 104 Bala-Cynwyd, PA. 19004 She is survived by one daughter: Rosella Tomaine of Carbondale, PA; one son: Frank T. Mancuso of Carbondale, PA; Four Grandchildren: James Mancuso of Binghamton, NY; Jennifer Smedley of Carbondale, Pa; Jacinta Koerper of Huntingdon Valley, PA; Pierre F. Mancuso of Scranton, PA; 4 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews Preceded in death by six brothers: Louis Parise, Joseph Parise, Frank Parise, Michael Parise, Samuel Parise, and William Parise; Five sisters: Concetta Scalise, Amelia Graziano, Rose Perri, Mary Parise, and Carmella Mancuso The funeral was held Tuesday, March 26, 2002 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale with mass at 9:30 am in Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Falbrook Street, Carbondale con-celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, Pastor and the Rev. Louis B. Pascoe S.J., Fordham University, Bronx, NY. Interment, Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. Viewing was held Monday, March 25, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9
