Obituary

Jefferson Jeff A. Manzer, completed his earthly Journey in the arms of Jesus and his family as he Returned to his heavenly Father, on Sunday evening, September 12, 2004 at home. Jeff, the son of the late R. Scott and Stella Manzer, was married to Anna Ann Clark for 63 years and together they prepared three children for life, love and faith with God and Christ as their anchor. Jeff was a retired dairy farmer and life long resident of South Gibson, PA. He was born on the family farm in 1916. He was a member of the South Gibson United Methodist Church, and Gibson Grange # 798. Jeff was a steward of the land and life and tried to leave each the better for his passing. His wit and humor live on in his children and grand children. He is survived by two daughters: Linda of Wichita, KA. and Margaret Markie of Brooklyn, PA.; one son: Boyd of South Gibson, PA.; one sister: Marion Burman of New Milford, PA.; Grandchildren: Cannice, Scott, Kerri, Dustin and Sarah; Great Grandchildren: Bailey, Alexandria Jessica; In-Law Children: Phillip, Jayne, David and Tom; Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one son: Duane Manzer; one grandson: T.J. Manzer A memorial service was held Sunday, September 26, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the South Gibson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barbara Doan, pastor, officiating. Interment, Manzer Cemetery, South Gibson. Memorial contributions can be sent to the South Gibson United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements were entrusted under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA.
