Jeannine Gillott, 55, of Carbondale, PA., died Thursday morning, June 28, 2012 at home after a lengthy illness. Born February 26, 1957 in Bridgeport, CT., she was the daughter of the late Stella Molinaro Mickel and Paul Lemoine. She was the step daughter of the late Harold Mickel. She was a graduate of Lakeland High School and had been employed for many years as a waitress at the former Barn Restaurant in Greenfield Township, PA. and as a nurse's aid for the former Lackawanna County Long Term Care Center in Sturges, PA. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their kind and compassionate care. She is survived by two brothers: James Mickel and wife Becky of Greenfield Township, PA. and David Mickel and wife Robin of Bethlehem, GA.; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by one son: Frank DeAntonio, III.; one daughter: Lisa Gillott, one sister: Paulette Brady As per her request she was cremated. Private interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Montdale, PA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
