Jean Fogg Filliettaz, 87, formerly of Tunkhannock, PA., died Sunday evening, June 16, 2013 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA., where she had resided for the past five years. Born June 4, 1926 in Lewiston, ME., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Laura Woods Fogg. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary in the human resources department of Stauffer Chemical Company in Westport, CT. She was a former member of Trinity St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Fairfield, CT. and was a current member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Tunkhannock. She is survived by one son: Michael Filliettaz of North Beach, MD.; two daughters: Diane Arnold of Fairfield, CT. and Debra Dowling of Nicholson, PA.; five granddaughters: Hillary Raining, Lauren Filliettaz, Allison Wilson, Stephanie Barnes and Kelly Millington; two great grandchildren: Juliano Barnes and Delia Raining; a brother-in-law: Robert Nielson, Sr. of Stowe, VT.; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Steven Robert Filliettaz; two sisters: Barbara Greene and Hazel Nielson. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM from St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Tunkhannock, with Jean's granddaughter, Rev. Hillary Raining, associate rector of St. David's Episcopal Church, Wayne, PA., officiating. Interment, Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield, CT. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA. Memorial contributions were made in Jean's name to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, P.O.
