Jean L. Beach, age 77, of Carbondale, PA, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in the Intensive Care Unit at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Beach, Jr. Born March 29, 1937 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Willis C. and Helen Dolph Schultz. She is survived by two daughters: Eva Jung of New Mexico and Helen Davidson of Carbondale, PA; one sister: Lucille Zajaczkowski of Forest City, PA; one brother: Thomas "Fred" Schultz of Waymart, PA; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Christine. As per her request, she was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
