Jared Edward Santos, infant son of Edward J. and Danielle (Gravine) Santos of Killeen, TX., died Monday, March 10, 2008 at Darnall Army Hospital, Fort Hood, TX. Born January 17, 2008 in Scranton, PA. Jared held a very special place in his parent's hearts. He made their family complete and he will never be forgotten. He is survived by one sister: Giavanna Santos, at home; paternal grandmother: Deborah Miller of Carbondale, PA.; maternal grandparents: Richard and Carmelita Gravine of Jermyn, PA.; maternal great grandparents: Dominick and Arlene Gravine of Archbald, PA.; aunts uncles: Michaelene Gravine of Clifford, PA., Richard Gravine of Arizona, Dominick Gravine of Jermyn, PA., Michael Crowl of Carbondale, PA. and Pamela Santos of Carbondale, PA.; 6 Cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents: William and Dorothy Lepre; maternal great grandparents, Michael and Dorothy Motisko. The funeral was held Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 9:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., with a Mass of the Angels at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Ronald Hughes, assistant pastor. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Pallbears: Edward and Danielle Santos. Friends called Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 2-4 7-9 PM.
