Janice E. (Clark) Roskosky, age 74, of Carbondale, PA., died Sunday morning, February 19, 2012 at home. She was the wife of the late Joseph B. Roskosky, who died March 21, 2011. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 5, 2012. Born March 15, 1937 in East Benton Township, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph B. Clark and Marguerite (Jones) Clark. She was a 1956 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a retail clerk for numerous stores while she and her husband lived in Monticello, NY. She also worked locally at JCPenney's, Daystrom and Burlington Coat Factory. She enjoyed baking, reading, knitting, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She is survived by two sisters: (her twin) Joyce White of Honesdale, PA. and Sue Langan and husband Bill Morris of Fort Lee, NJ.; one brother: Raymond Clark and wife Patricia of Carbondale, PA.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one infant son; one infant daughter; one sister: Donna Cicerini. The funeral was held Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, officiated by Rev. Doug Posegate, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Carbondale. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Pallbearers: Bill Morris, Paul McDonald, Ken Clark, Jennifer Seitz and Skip Seitz. Friends called Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 4-7 PM.
