On February 28th, 2025, our beloved Janet L. Hoffman, our Mama, joined the skies, welcomed in the love of her parents, Edward L. Hoffman and Nancy T. Bracken, her siblings: Gloria J. Nienhouse and Edward L. Hoffman Jr., and her son: Charles Chapple, III.

Born on July 3, 1962, Janet's impact on all that surrounded her will last forever. She was a mother to all, a heart so big she was able to share it with everyone. She was the funniest, scariest, most sarcastic, bad-assest mother ever. She was a dedicated CNA at Elan Skilled Nursing and Rehab for 20 years. When not working, she was spending time with her kids and grandkids, especially outdoors. At home she could be found enjoying her true crime programs, and playing her favorite games on her phone.

Living on in her honor are her children: Christina Hoffman, Sharon Fornicola, Ashley Chapple, Joseph Chapple, Duane Eddy Sheare, Jr., and Bradley Hoffman, and all others she called hers; one sister: Nancy L. Batterson; one brother: John D. Hoffman; and ten grandchildren.

Viewing hours were held Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2-5 p.m. at Carmine J. and Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA.
