Jamie M. Lynady, 19, of Carbondale, PA., died Saturday night, August 16, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Little Keen Road in Clinton Township, PA. Born April 17, 1989 in Carbondale, PA., he was the son of Michael J. Lynady of Waymart, PA. and the late Patricia McHugh Lynady who died December 4, 2006. He was a 2007 graduate of Carbondale Area High School and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. He enlisted in the Navy Reserves this year as a field medic and was very excited about starting his new career. Jamie was a kind and loving young man who liked art and always talked about his little sister Katie. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. He is survived by two brothers: Shaun and Michael Lynady; two sisters: Nicole Lynady and Katie Anne Solsbury all of Carbondale, PA.; paternal grandparents: Walter and Una Lynady of Waymart, PA; several aunts, uncles cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 9:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, senior priest. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Arrangement were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale.
