James F. Donnelly, 46, of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday night, November 17, 2016 at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. He is survived by his wife the former Cindy Castro. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is the son of Irene Semonich Donnelly of Olyphant, PA and the late James Donnelly. He has been employed as a supervisor at Keystone Propane in Throop and was a avid New York Yankees fan. He is survived by three children: Nicholas Donnelly and wife Chevelle, Christopher Donnelly and Arianna Donnelly all of Carbondale, PA; two granddaughters: Tierra and Amethyst Donnelly of Carbondale, PA; two brothers: Frank Donnelly of Brooklyn, NY and Joseph Donnelly of Shirley, NY; four sisters: Sharon Martin of Blakely, PA, Jacqueline Brennan of Brooklyn, NY, Irene Donnelly of Olyphant, PA and Maryellen Donnelly Alexandria of Dickson City, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Patricia Donnelly. Friends call Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Edward A. Wade Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place, Carbondale. A catholic blessing service was conducted at 7 p.m. by Msgr. Michael Delaney of Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant.
