James Dippel, 59, of Mayfield, PA, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton, PA, after an extended illness.

Born July 20, 1965 in Peckville, PA, he is the son of Richard Dippel of Mayfield, PA, and Victoria Angradi Dippel of Eynon, PA.

Jim was a graduate of Valley View High School and served six years with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He had many fond memories of his job as a cross-country truck driver. Jim was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed playing golf with his brother-in-law, Kevin.

He is survived by two brothers: Richard Dippel and companion, Mary of Bradenton, FL and Brian Dippel of Mayfield, PA; two sisters: Cindy Smith and husband, Kevin of Peckville, PA, and Kimberlee Sweeney and husband, Ned of Eynon, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
