James A. Tracy of Harford, PA, died Friday, December 16, 2022 at Riverview Manor, Owego, NY.

Born on May 7, 1940 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Rena May (Monroe) Tracy.

Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and operator of James A. Tracy Roofing and Siding and later an S.E.O for Susquehanna County. He was also a past member of the Harford Historical Society and a past Master of the Harford Masonic Lodge #445 and is well remembered for leading many new members through the rites of that order.

He enjoyed hunting, watching his children play sports, moving dirt with various excavators and bulldozers, mowing giant lawns, and expressing his displeasure with his helpers in the most colorful terms.

He is survived by a brother: John; a sister: Rena May Seyfert; three sons: Matthew, Jonathan, and Jarod; two daughters: Elizabeth O'Neill and Mary Tracy; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a son: James Mark; his third wife: Mary Sorrantino; two brothers: Lawrence and Wallace; and two sisters: Ella Williams and Shirley Larkin.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Salvation Army Corps of Scranton.
